An illustrated letter to Dr. Phillip Cole featuring a an ink and watercolored drawing of an American Indian camp (Apsáalooke/ Crow or Niitsitapii/ Blackfoot?) and discussing Sharp's satisfaction with Cole adding a group of pieces he kept together "for their artistic value and the association with and friendship of some of the finest characters of the human race" to his collection in full.
